Help shape Flexera AI Cost Management: Apply for the early access program

AI adoption is accelerating, but many organizations lack visibility into AI usage, costs, and value. Flexera's AI Cost Management Early Access Program gives participants the opportunity to evaluate upcoming capabilities designed to help organizations understand, manage, and optimize AI investments.

Early Access participants will collaborate directly with our product team, provide feedback on product direction, and gain limited access to new functionality before general availability.

Snow Atlas: Product performance and license compliance enhancements

The latest Snow Atlas updates are designed to help you work more efficiently, improve visibility, and stay ahead of compliance requirements. New enhancements include support for exporting datasets of up to 1 million rows directly to Microsoft SharePoint, certification for the latest ServiceNow CMDB, updated VMware vSphere license compliance reporting, and significant performance improvements to the Files per Computer report.

Flexera One ITAM: New enhancements to help manage OLVM and IBM compliance risk

Recent enhancements to Flexera One IT Asset Management provide greater visibility into Oracle Linux Virtualization Manager (OLVM) environments and help organizations proactively manage IBM sub-capacity compliance risk. New capabilities automatically identify IBM-licensed environments running technologies that are approaching or have reached end of support, enabling teams to plan upgrades, reduce compliance exposure, and make more informed decisions. Customers can also gain visibility into OLVM infrastructure to support more accurate license compliance reporting and management.

Flexera One IT Visibility: Container Inventory Overview now available

Gain a unified view of your Kubernetes environment with the new Container Inventory Overview report. By bringing together clusters, nodes, pods, and containers in a single view, teams can more easily monitor container health, track adoption trends, identify infrastructure lifecycle risks, and access detailed inventory insights. The result is greater visibility into container workloads and the underlying infrastructure, helping organizations improve governance, planning, reliability, and operational efficiency across their container ecosystem.

Flexera was named a Leader in the 2026 Gartner® Magic Quadrant™ for SaaS Management Platforms

Gartner’s 2026 Magic Quadrant for SaaS Management Platforms names Flexera a Leader and provides deep insight into the challenges IT leaders face as SaaS and AI adoption accelerates.

The research highlights why SaaS management is now a board-level concern:

  • Through 2028, over 70% of organizations will centralize SaaS application management using a SaaS management platform (SMP)
  • Through 2028, organizations that fail to attain centralized visibility and coordinate SaaS life cycles will overspend on SaaS by at least 25%
  • Through 2029, organizations that do not centrally monitor and manage SaaS-hosted AI tools will incur at least 50% higher expense and will be at least five times more likely to experience a cyber incident than those that do.

Only 31% of organizations have visibility into AI software as spend surges, Flexera 2026 State of ITAM Report reveals

The 2026 Flexera State of ITAM Report was published last month and reveals a growing disconnect between rapid AI adoption and organizations ability to manage it effectively. While nearly half of organizations are already tracking AI as part of their software spend, only one third (31%) reported having accurate visibility into AI software. At the same time, 59% of respondents say wasted AI spend has increased year over year, highlighting rising cost pressures as enterprises adopt AI at scale and it becomes a core spending category.
