SEE ALL CASE STUDIESFunctionality that provides details on commitment dimensions (reserved instances, savings plans, etc.) is now available to all customers in a general availability release. These details, including billing entity, commitment ID, and commitment name were previously only available for select customers in a beta release.
The Kubecost Flexera Exporter tool has been enhanced to generate additional labels that capture cluster and namespace names. These labels are ingested alongside existing Kubernetes resource labels. With these new labels, you can define tag dimensions based on familiar Kubernetes terms such as cluster and namespace, making cost analysis more intuitive.
Flexera has long supported tag dimensions, custom dimensions specific to an organization that are used to allocate and view cloud spend more granularly. You can now use these tag dimensions to filter and group recommendations in rate and usage reduction recommendation tables, providing further in-depth insights into cloud spend and allocation.
We are thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of our brand-new community site! We’ve been hard at work on this vibrant, collaborative space that merges the best of Snow Globe and the Flexera Community, and we can’t wait to unveil it towards the end of this year.
Once the site goes live, the URL will change to https://community.flexera.com/ as well as https://flexerasoftware.my.site.com/ for single sign-on.
We'll provide detailed instructions to help you get started as the launch date approaches, and we’ll transition you to the new site at the time of launch.
