Gartner Magic Quadrant for SaaS Management Platforms

Gartner’s 2025 Magic Quadrant for SaaS Management Platforms names Flexera a Leader and provides deep insight into the challenges IT leaders face as SaaS and AI adoption accelerates.

The research highlights why SaaS management is now a board-level concern:

• Organizations without centralized SaaS management are 5x more likely to face a cyber incident or data loss.
• By 2027, companies that don’t gain visibility into SaaS usage will overspend on SaaS by at least 25%.
• By 2028, over 70% of organizations will use a SaaS management platform — up from less than 30% today.

The report also details the core capabilities that matter most — from discovering shadow IT and optimizing license spend, to improving compliance, automating onboarding/offboarding, and giving leaders trustworthy data to guide SaaS and AI investments.
