Enterprises continually struggle to manage their infrastructure environments. Current frameworks for evaluating management tools are ill equipped for the requirements of increasingly complex infrastructures.
We believe, common key challenges I&O teams encounter include:
- Infrastructure requirements that are expanding, making tool selection more challenging
- Cross-market acquisitions which alter long-standing vendor relationships and wear down commitments to products from traditional vendors
- Management tools that are loosely defined and can overlap, making it difficult for I&O leaders to select the proper tools to satisfy the needs of their organizations
This research presents I&O leaders with a framework for simplifying the tool selection process and enables effective management of modern infrastructure environments.
